The Language Lab strives to support students learning new languages by offering a range of materials for reference, self-instruction, and practice.

Language Lab Facilities

The Language Lab offers:

  • over 30 computer work stations for individual and group work
  • classroom and private room facilities:
    • Media Classroom (3402) for interactive, technology-aided instruction
    • Private Rooms (3302C and 3302D) with 3-4 individual computer workstations
    • Book a room

General Resources

We also offer access to:

  • Course material reserves for Linguistics & Language classes
  • Tech and audiovisual equipment (available for checkout)
  • Teaching aids for Language Program instructors (REALIA)
  • Reference books, foreign language films, and linguistics books (view catalog)
  • Study and Zoom-friendly areas

Materials are available for on-premises use to all UC San Diego students. Faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the local community are also welcome as space allows.
